GCSE final piece: Mirror of Truth

Final piece for my GCSE work on objects and their owners.
painted on an a1 canvas with ink and acrylic.
I used acrylic paints for the girl, who is me because it's easier to use yourself as a model, and ink for the background and skull girl.

I was really proud of this, my teacher said it was good, but I haven't got the final grade yet, and I got loads of compliments on it from my class mates. It took the full 10 hours of the exam, so 10 hours of silence and painting. I was stuck on what background I should put in, and wanted a Zelda, or general gaming, reference in my piece, so I stuck the mirror of Twilight in there for giggles. I didn't think it would go this well, seeing as the first time I painted on canvas was the day before the exam, so was really proud.
The part I hated most was the hair, damn painting curly hair is hard!
